Love this playful flight into the imagination! The toy fisherman in search of catching the big one is oblivious that it is in fact right under his boat! His anchor is caught between the realm of a painting and that of his own reality that judging by the faucet exists either a bathtub or sink. The mermaid in the picture within a picture grins mischievously as her motion plays with the thought of knocking the anchor loose. The title is also fantastic for it plays into the whimsy of the composition! L/F
